We believe that acting responsibly and fairly are important factors in achieving long-term business success. Having rules and guidance that reflect our commitments as a responsible brewer are vital in relation to our stakeholders and our license to operate.

Many of our Group companies have worked with business ethics as a normal part of their processes for a long time.

In 2009 we carried out an internal global survey to improve our understanding of business ethics issues across the Group. We use these findings to develop a Group-wide approach that takes into account local initiatives and procedures.

This Group-wide approach will include a Business Ethics Policy, Handbook and Guidelines, as well as global e-learning which are meant to supplement local training initiatives. These documents and initiatives have been developed to reflect our commitments to fair and transparent business conduct in our global operations.

Our aim is that wherever we operate we will apply the Business Ethics Policy, which will be finalised in 2010.
